Since its advent PlayerUnknown’s Battleground or as most people call it PUBG, has been breaking records. Millions of people play this game in India and all over the world.
Now that navratri is finally over, all of us can now go back to our favorite chicken dinner. (pun intended)
I’m here to tell you some tips and tricks to help you in getting that chicken dinner easily. First let me give you just a small introduction, it is a Battle Royale where a 100 players land on an island and fight for survival.
1) Choose where to land wisely
On erangel, there are places like Pochinki, Sosnovka Military Base, School which have excellent loot but also have a lot of people who get down here. Thus, if you want to avoid combat just as soon as you get down then you must avoid getting down here. Then there are places like Hospital, Yasnaya Polynaya, Mylta, Mylta Power, which have good loot and not many people get down here. Hence it is advisable that you get down at these places if you’re not a pro player. Similarly in Miramar, there are places like Los Leones, El Pozo, San Martin, that have excellent loot but also are very risky. Places like Monte Nuevo, Pecado, Graveyard are the places with good loot and low risk. While in Sanhok, you can find good loot everywhere. However areas like Paradise Resort, Camp Bravo, Camp Alpha have high footfalls.
2) Look while you fall
After jumping from the plane, look around you for other players who also have jumped together with you. Doing so, gives you a fair idea of the other players who are around you and you can analyze whether you should run or try landing at some other place.
3) Loot smartly
Don’t pick up things you know you won’t need. 8/10 times you’ll be having a backpack of level 1 or 2, as the level 3 backup is very rare and is usually found in supply drops (I’ll get to that later). Hence you need to be smart and careful while filling things in your backpack. The pickup is automatic, and the things you need are marked in yellow.
4) Try keeping guns of the same ammo
Keeping guns of the same ammo is very helpful as you don’t have to search for two kinds of ammo and you get extra space in your backpack. However, I wouldn’t advise keeping two of the same guns. The reason behind this is not all guns have the same specifications, and not all guns support all the scopes, the 8x scope in particular. In PUBG, every gun has different specifications and is best suited for different kinds of scenarios-; while shotguns, UZI are the best for close combat, Sniper Rifles are best for long range shooting and Assault Rifles are best for mid range and good for short range shooting. Thus, keeping a combination of two different types is advisable, amongst which, a combination of an Assault Rifle and a Sniper Rifle is the best. (M416 and Mini 14 for 5.56mm or AK47 and SLR/SKS Rifle for 7.62mm)
5) Avoid going for supply drops
While it is true that more often than not, the supply drops have the best guns, armor, scope, backpack and even ghillie suits. But, going for the supply drop is hardly ever worth it, due to the extreme high risk. On an average, around 7-15 players come to loot one supply drop. However, if you are bent on looting a supply drop, then my advice would be to go with a vehicle, loot it ASAP and get the hell out of there. However, on the other hand drops are a great opportunity to get some kills. No matter whether you loot the drop or not you can always camp a few meters away and kill everyone who comes there.
6) Fire only when it is necessary
Fire only when you’re sure of getting a kill for sure, otherwise you are making other players aware of your location. This can prove to be fatal for you. Using a suppressor makes your gun shots hidden to distant enemies. Also, use headphones while playing as they help you hear footsteps before they appear on the map, also you can hear grenades thrown near or at you.
